Loss and Arrival

 We lost our beloved

Zoe

She passed away suddenly

One sunny afternoon

For no apparent reason.

Started vomiting 

We figured she ate something on our walk

But she kept it up for 4-5 times

Finally stopped and we thought she was going to be fine,

Went in to check on her resting

But she was not breathing 

So so sad

Vet thinks it was a heart attack

She seemed fine earlier 

Running as usual 

3 walks outside with normal behavior 

Very sudden

We mourned for a week or two,

Kodiak was extremely sad (like the rest of us)

So it was decided

We would get a companion

But not another R&W

Too soon...

Our new Red Setter - Mia

The breeder said she would double in size in two weeks

She didn't 

But 6 months later...
